About me
Hi! My name is Bjørn, and I’m passionate about language learning. Ever since I started studying Italian, I’ve been fascinated by how languages open doors to new cultures, perspectives, and opportunities. Now, I’m on a mission to bring my French up to B2 and officially call myself a polyglot – and I invite you to join me on this journey!
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Italian from the University of Oslo, and I speak Norwegian (C2 – native), English (C2 – fluent), and Italian (B2 – upper-intermediate). My next goal is to bring my French up to B2, and I document that process while sharing practical language-learning techniques that can be applied to any language.
On Patreon, you can learn Norwegian, Italian, and French through my videos and blog posts. I share linguistic perspectives on each of these three languages, as well as general language-learning advice based on my own language journey.

What is a Polyglot?
A polyglot is someone who speaks multiple languages fluently. While definitions vary, I personally consider a true polyglot to be someone who speaks at least four languages at B2 level or higher. The word “polyglot” comes from Greek: “poly” (many) and “glotta” (tongue/language). Polyglots switch between languages with ease and often develop a deep appreciation for different cultures and linguistic structures. I already speak three languages, and I’m on my way to making French my fourth. Want to learn alongside me?
